  • The RF103/Type 3 is a 10-valve chassis with a highly efficient RF stage, two stages of IF amplification, and a selectivity better than 7 kHz. 
    Among its many refinements are the three stages of A.V.C. negative feedback, slide rule dial, and flywheel tuning. Waveband coverage is from 16-50, 195-550, and 800-2,000 metres.

    When the chassis is used as a gramophone amplifier the large amount of amplification available enables a high-quality pickup of the miniature type to be used without additional amplification.
