- The Arvin model 502 in a metal "Walnut" cabinet and the same in Ivory as model 502A can be seen 1939 at least in two fliers "New 1940 Arvin Radios". The 5-tube AC/DC superhet models have a 30 foot antenna attached. Band coverage of the Arvin 502 and 502A is 540 to 1750 kc which includes some police reception. Power consumption 30 Watts. Illuminated airplane dial, full volume control and 2-gang uning condenser.
