- The Arvin model 502A in a metal "Ivory" cabinet and the same in metal with "Mahogany" finish as model 502 can be seen 1939 at least in two fliers "New 1940 Arvin Radios". The 5-tube AC/DC superhet models have a 30 foot antenna attached. Band coverage of the Arvin 502 and 502A is 540 to 1750 kc which includes some police reception. Power consumption 30 Watts. Illuminated airplane dial, full volume control and 2-gang uning condenser.
