  • Sync.vibrator for +B. The model Arvin 518B is one of the 7 Arvin farm radios Noblitt-Sparks offers for that season. There is no picture in the 1937 Arvin 4-paged flier "New 1938 Arvin Radios" which emphasizes on the "Phantom Filter Circuit" (see also "Life" October 18th 1937) and in ads on "ten years of radio progress". The flier pictures 3 farm radios, not including this one. The text for farm radios tells us: "The Arvin line of Farm Radios includes 7 smartly styled models, 2 consoles and 2 table radios operating from 2-volt A batteries and 90-volt B batteries, 1 console and 2 table models operate from one 6-volt 150-ampere hour storage battery.
