Astor P2A Portable Radio
A nine transistor portable receiver with printed circuit. Multi-band for receiving overseas countries, maritime services, outpost radio, Flying Doctor and amatuer transmissions. Features inbuilt ferrite rod aerial, inbuilt telescopic aerial with provision for external aerial. High-efficiency speaker and batteries all combined in a sturdy vinyl plastic foam covered cabinet. Frequency coverage: 525~1605 kHz, 1.6~4.4 MHz, 4.4~1.4 MHz and 11.4~18.2 MHz.
Battery: 2 x Eveready Type 276P
Speaker: Rola Type 55-4C 15Ω 5" x 4" elliptical.
Cabinet Colours: Tan, Dark Red, Green & Grey.Re-designated Model PB026 in 1968.
