The Astor Porta was initially sold by Louis Coen as the Pinnacle Porta in 1927. The name changed to the Astor Porta from 1927 and was sold by Louis Coen who amalgamated with Radio Corporation of Australia in 1928. Advertisements for the Astor Porta appear till mid-1929.
