- The most common color was dark brown (also finished in black). Horn came in several heights and figure. Base Diameter: 8-1/4 and 8-9/16. Bell Diameter: 14-1/2 and 14-7/8.Base Material:iron.Bell Material:steel and brass. Neck material:aluminium. Height: 22-1/4,23,25,25-3/4. Logo Color:red. Neck to Bell screws:Outside-In. All dimensions are in inches. Logos are located on the base of the neck… (Radio Horn Speaker Encyclopedia Floyd A.Paul). The Model M was the only AK horn speaker that didn't have a pot metal driver. It featured a steel driver housing which didn't "grow" with age. The M was also the only AK horn speaker that had a removable horn that could swivel on its base.
