- Notes
-
Atwater Kent Model K cone speaker. Documentation or advertising related to this speaker is practically non-existent. This model was Atwater Kent's first attempt at offering a paper cone speaker. It was very quickly superseded by their Model E speaker which could produce much more volume. Patent US1794855A for the Model K was filed May 26, 1925. The driver has an adjustment lever and its impedance is approximately 2000 ohms.
Two varieties of original paper cones have been found, one with green marbling on both sides of the paper and one with brown marbling on both sides of the paper.
