  • Notes
  •  AVO Capacity Meter

A simple and accurate capacity meter, reading capacities directly from a calibrated dial.

Six ranges; measurements can be made from a few pF. to 0.1 µF correct to within an error of less than 1%.

Measurements are carried out by a resonance method; the unknown condenser is introduced into a tuned circuit coupled to a radio frequency oscillator. A meter gives a visual indication of resonance; the length of meter deflection gives a comparative measure of losses of the condenser under test.

    Six Ranges:

    1: 0 to 0.0005 µF
    2: 0.0005 to 0.0015 µF
    3: 0.0015 to 0.003 µF
    4: 0.003 to 0.005 µF
    5: 0.005 to 0.01 µF
    6: 0.01 to 0.1 µF
