- Details about this very early Radio-controlled Garage Door Operator can be read from the pictures. The receiver measures 18 x 12 x 12". The transmitter is made with a spark coil which is enclosed in a water-tight box clamped to the mainspring in the car. The signal is coded and when the car lights are burning, the lights in the garage are turned on also.
