According to Maurice Sievers in Crystal Clear Vol II The Beaver Baby Grand came in four different variations. There is a version with a metal name plate on a wood case that is 1/8" shorter in height and also has smaller binding posts.
This is the third version with the one piece molded hard rubber case.
Same as the Model R-1 except box and top surface are molded together.
