- Notes
- The Beckman Counting Unit (Frequency Counter) type 6380 features two identical counting inputs X and Y housed in one plug-in type 683, both ranges from DC up to 20 MHz. 5-step attenuator, adjustable trigger point, switchable + or - slope. Has separate AC inputs with blocking capacitors. A second plug-in 675 contains a function selector for resolution, period, time X --> Y, count X, Freq. X. The time base ranges from 0.1 µs to 10 s in decadic steps. The readout section shows the result by a eight-digit nixie tube display, a 9th nixie tube (NL-867) displays the units kHz, MHz, µs, s. Display time can be adjusted. Built-in 5 MHz-OCXO (Oven Controlled Quartz Oscillator) Beckman ACM. Time base output for 1 MHz, an external time base or frequency standard (1, 2.5 or 5 MHz) can be connected at the back. Based mainly on the first generation of SSI ICs (TTL circuits, 7400 series) and some special integrated circuits.
