The Bendix MT-11B Navy "Flameproof" Morse key has fully enclosed contacts intended to prevent sparks from igniting fuel vapor. It is also safer for operating those transmitters with significant voltage across the key contacts. The key is marked with reference number 110F-101 and has the original 4.5 foot shielded cable. The knob and connector cover are Bakelite.
