This is the Control Box matching the receiver BC-433 of the Radio Compass SCR-269-G of the U.S.Air Force, this equipment can be used to monitor weather reports of ground stations, for direction finding and for homing, the receiver can be tuned in the three ranges 200 - 410 / 410 - 850 and 850 - 1750 kHz and any transmitter with a known location can be used to keep the airplane on course.
