The Concertone model 401 magnetic tape recorder consist of a cast aluminum plate on which are mounted the drive mechanism, power supply, and amplifier chassis.The mechanism is designed to record on standard 5" and 7" reels, or the professional NAB 10-1/2" reel using the #801 reel adaptor, at the speed of 7-1/2" or 15" per second.
