- A. W. Bowman Progressive Unit-Detector and Two-Stage Amplifier Set consisted of a Variocoupler Unit, a 43 plate Variable Condenser panel, a 21 plate Variable Condenser panel, the Vacuum Tube Detector Unit and two One-Stage Amplifier panels. This unit would drive a horn speaker.
In the 1921-1923 Sears, Roebuck and Co. Radio catalogs, Sears offered a series of Unit panels that were produced by the Bowman Company. The panels were each 5 inches square and could be joined together to form a complete receiver.
