  • A. W. Bowman Three-Panel Crystal Set consisted of the Crystal Detector and Test Buzzer panel, the variocoupler panel and the 43 plate Variable Condenser panel. The set covered the 150 to 500 meter wavelength range. The addition of the variable condenser increased the selectivity of this set.In the 1921-1923 Sears, Roebuck and Co. Radio catalogs, Sears offered a series of Unit panels that were produced by the Bowman Company. The panels were each 5 inches square and could be joined together to form a complete receiver.
