- Notes
- Kit for a Radio using the National Regenaformer. In a constructional paper Mr.Browning recommended the use of a UV199 or DV3 tube in the RF stage, and 3xUV201A for Det. and Audio. Alternatively (at reduced performance) 4xUV199 or 4xDV3 throughout.
The initial recommendation was to use 4xUV201A or 4xDV3 or 4x UV199. Eventually the quoted combination was chosen with one UX199 and three UX201A. The UX199 received a separate fixed filament series resistor.
Employs "Velvet" dials.
