A battery operated 3 band AM/FM portable transistor radio. With a telescopic aerial, AFC, and sockets for earphone/tape recorder, car radio aerial and 9V DC PSU (optional PU90). 6 x 4 inch elliptical loudspeaker.

L.W. band : 280 kHz to 158 kHz (1070 to 1900 metres).
M.W. band : 1605 kHz to 525 kHz (187 to 570 metres).
V.H.F. band : 87.5 MHz to 108 MHz.Similar to the Murphy B944 AM/FM Portable Radio, and the earlier Bush VTR173 and Murphy B844 AM/FM Portable Radios which do not have a 9V PSU socket.
