  • Notes
  • This is a large screen cathode ray oscilloscope designed primarily for class room and lecture demonstrations.  Various plug in modules were available, including the 17A and 17B vertical amplifiers, and the 17E time base.  The vertical bandwidth was limited to 20 kHz for a 4 inch deflection amplitude when using the 17A plug-in by the electromagnetic deflection method used.

X-Y operation is possible by the use of two 17A or 17B modules, and the device can be used as a raster display by the use of two 17E timebase modules and a video signal inputted to the "Z" and external trigger terminals.

As well as the P4 phosphor shown, the CRT was also available with P7 or P26 screens.

Most of the transistors listed occurr in the circuit more than once.
