- The Marconi Model 281 is an AC operated 6 Tube BC Receiver. BC Band Tuning Range: 540 to 1720kHz. Has built-in loop antenna. Two output tubes (6AQ5) operate in parallel. Operates with either 25 or 60Hz AC power. Marconi Table Model 279 uses the same chassis and schematic.
