The Canadian General Electric model 678 is a pocket transistor radio. Uses one Eveready 239 or Burgess XX9 battery. This is a 13.5 volt battery with a tap at 9 volts.
Models in later production runs used different transistor types.Model Colour 675 Ebony 676 Ivory 677 Red 678 Aqua See similar USA models.
