  • Dip solder wiring: The connections on the chassis were all made using a dip solder method, where each connection was put into a terminal that protruded out of the chassis so the connection could be soldered by dipping the chassis into molten solder about 1 cm. GE claimed it eliminated human error. Later TV sets were done the same way.
    Available in ivory, walnut and red colour.
