Die GLE Serie (40,45,50,60.70,100 - die Typzahl gibt jeweils die Nennleistung in Watt an) löst zur Messe hifi1978 die urprünglich bei Canton gebaute Boxen- Serie LE ab (Ausnahme GLE 100 1979). Zur IFA 1981 wird die GLE-Serie von der Quinto-Serie (510, 520, 530 und 540) abgelöst, wobei die Quinto 510 etwa der alten GLE 50 usw. entspricht.
Entwicklung von W. Seikritt, ehemaliger Braun-Mitarbeiter. Eigene Fertigung aller Chassis.
