  • This Friedland Libra Door Chime system comprises a Model D261 Wirefree Bell Push and a Model D291 Plug-in Receiver. Operating frequency 433 MHz.

    The Model D291 Plug-in Receiver is similar to the better-known Model D285 100m Chime except that it does not have a volume control, and instead of being powered by two internal AA batteries it is equipped with an integrated Type C 2-pin Europlug and operates directly from a 220-240 V 50 Hz AC mains socket. Current consumption is 60 mA. The red LED on the front of the unit indicates when the AC power is on.

    The Model D261 Bell Push is powered by an internal lithium CR2032 3 V coin cell battery. The red confidence LED is illuminated only when the unit is transmitting. With the internal switch in position 1, the chime plays a 2-tone sequence, whereas in position 2 it plays a 4-tone sequence.

    One of the 256 system codes can be set manually by 8 DIP switches in the bell push and the receiver. All Friedland Libra products are compatible and can activate each other if the codes are set to be the same.
