The Carver model PDR-10 belongs to the first generation of professional CD recorders, mainly developed by Philips and Studer.
CD Write Once Disc (CD-R) is recorded according to the "Orange Book Standard", after the CD Recordable (Fix-Up) is completed, it complies with the "Red Book Standard" and can be played on any CD player.
