Model 1101 has one speaker. Different pilot lamps light to indicate waveband selected. The magic eye 6U5 is from 1937.
The 6F6 output tubes have 500K resistors from the control grids to the chassis ground. They were omitted from the schematic diagram. The output stage would not work correctly without the resistors.
