  • Notes
  • The model 147 requies a special L42C-54 ballast tube for operation of the shortwave band indicator lamps. If a standard L42C ballast is used, a 20 ohm, 2 watt, resistor should be connected between pins 4 and 8 of the ballast tube socket.  The radio will operate with a standard L42C ballast tube but the shortwave lamps will not light.
