Later versions might have used DK92 OR 1AC6 as there was an offer of supplying the kit with low power consumption valves - DK96, DF96, DAF96 & DL96 instead of the 50mA versions. This made the radio cost £7 15/6 plus (7.775 GBP) postage & packing. The 1AC6 is pin compatible with DK96, the 1R5 is not.
