  • Notes
  • This Musicare is most probably a model 421TE - by reading the sticker which is written in handwriting ... It shows 5 push buttons for fixed stations. We will try to find more data. The buyer of this Musicaire 421TE told the seller (Maggie): The chassis looks to be the same as a Sentinel model 124AE. So its probably a repackaged Sentinel radio with the Musicair logo. It has the following tube line up: 6A8 1st Detector / Osc. /Mixer; 6K7 IF; 6Q7 2nd Detector / 1st Audio; 6K6 Audio output; 5Y4 Rectifier; 6G5 / 6U5 tuning indicator. The chassis 124AE (421ACE) is a 124A with magic eye. It offers 4 push button stati0ons plus "M" for variable tuning with a two gang variable condenser. There is a universal transformer possible for 110/130/150/230V - perhaps for export.
