    The claimed gain characteristics of the UHF masthead amplifier are as follows.

    A/1014 Single-stage amplifier:

    The amplifiers were housed in a plastic box with a hinged lid and a mounting backplate. For convenience, the PCB could be removed from the box when attaching the coax cables. A version (A/1021) of the single-stage amplifier could also be supplied for mounting inside a dipole insulator box.

    The amplifiers could be powered by Model A/1015 or A/1024 240 V AC mains power packs, the latter version having a neon indicator and 100 mA fuse.
