- This is common for the 51J-1 and 51J-2, which both show on their faceplate only 51J without suffix. The difference is an additional toggle switch left of the meter and wording on crystal cal. switch changed to "Calibrate". 0.5 - 30 MHz, AM/CW/MCW. Principle: Superheterodyne, single, double or triple conversion. Triple conversion was used in the first band (540 - 1500KHz), single conversion in bands 2 and 3 and double conversion in the other bands. Tuning range 0.5 - 30.5 MHz in 30 1MHz bands. Fixed IF: 500 KHz
