• This was one of three AC mains kit models introduced in 1932. These receivers are of the three valve AC mains type, incorporating variable mu HF stage, followed by a leaky grid detector, and power output. Rectification is by a full wave rectifying valve, and provision can be made for gramophone record reproduction.

  The Model 336 is a tabletop without a loudspeaker (and no room in its cabinet for one), the Model 337 a tabletop with a built-in loudspeaker, and the Model 338 is just the chassis and valves. All three models have the same chassis.
