6 valve dual wave superhet with RF stage mantel model receiver marketed throughout New Zealand by distributor Hope Gibbons Ltd.
CH=R-119EF appears to be the export version of the R-119(A) and uses a power transformer with 2 separate tapped primaries to achieve 5 voltage options. The method of connecting these primaries is shown on a tag connected to the chassis.
The R-119EF chassis is wired for operation with a high impedance phongraph pickup.
