The schematic (from November 1939) is for chassis 429, but this portable model is called B429A - according to a folder (point of sales brochure) for 1939/40 battery radios.
The folder for battery radios 1939/40 shows the models B429A, B449A, B459A, B579A, B589A, B6579D and the console models B5579M and B5589M (but without the 439).
