The Crosley battery model B459A has a permanent speaker and a walnut cabinet which conceals battery pack. Curved dial glass with gold etched numerals, five push buttons for instant accurate tuning of favorite stations.
A folder for battery radios 1939/40 shows the models B429A, B449A, B459A, B579A, B589A, B6579D and the console models B5579M and B5589M (but without the 439).
