- Dark Walnut Cabinet. For the Buccaneer 635 there are 3 different transformers possible: 60 cycle 110 volt, 25 cycles 110 volt and 25 cycles 220 volt. Tuning ranges are 540 to 1700 kHz broadcast, 1.7 MHz to 5.2 MHz and 5.4 to 15.3 MHz. There may have been used two different sets of knobs: wooden knobs (according to a photo of Greg Armstrong at Crosleyradios.com), which can be wrong knobs, or 8 sided bakelite knobs which can be seen on the folder. We don't know the difference yet between 635-M and 635 and call them all 635-M - to be found also with the full term. See also the model 655 Olympia with the same cabinet but six metal tubes and other features. There is also a Buccaneer console.
See details about season 1935/36 here. For Crosley and many collectors it is 1936 models, but fact is season 1935/36.
