The Crosley battery model B6579D has a permanent speaker and the chassis of the B579A, walnut cabinet which conceals battery pack. Curved dial glass with gold etched numerals, five push buttons for instant accurate tuning of favorite stations.
A folder for battery radios 1939/40 shows the models B429A, B449A, B459A, B579A, B589A, B6579D and the console models B5579M and B5589M (but without the 439). The Crosley schematic is for chassis 579, 5579 and 6579 1939/40 battery radios.
