The Crosley 80AW is an AC operated 8 tube BC and SW band receiver. This receiver uses chassis 8H1, which is also used in model 80AW Lowboy. This "Allwave Receiver" covers the band of 540 - 24000 kHz in 4 steps. Has 80 to 1 ratio-drive mechanism with special fishing reel type of tuning control. Also has Air Plane type dial and push-pull output stage.
