The Crosley B-899 is a battery operated 6 tube BC, Police and SW band receiver. Designed to operate from a 6V storage battery, this model creates the B+ voltage from a built-in vibrator. Has continuous frequency tuning range from 540 to 18000kHz.
Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:
BC Band (Blue Band).............540 - 1800kHz
Police Band (Red Band).........1.8 - 6.0MHz
SW Band (Green Band)..........6.0 - 18.0MHzThe only radio station call letters on the dial are WLW(Crosley).
