- The only reliable aspect to distinguish model 47 and 48 is the chassis, which employs 5 tubes for the 48, and only 4 tubes for the 47. Both names Wigit and Elf can have either chassis, be it from manufacture ar later by a collector. The Repwood (pressed wood) cabinet is always the same. Ornate carved front. The name Wigit is sometimes found misspelled like Widgit (Slusser) or Wiget (Grinder).
