  • Ornate repwood front; stretcher base. Looks similar to "Classmate". Shown in "The Crosley Broadcaster" September 15, 1930 on page 16 with a picture are the models "The NEW Buddy", "The Pal", "The Mate", "the new leadership series" with "The Director" and "The Arbiter". The new Buddy is a table top model, the others are four Lowboys. The Crosley model "Mate" is mentioned October 1930 in the "The Crosley Broadcaster" on page 15 - with a price of 79.50 $ with tubes, same as in September. Pal and Mate have the same receiving set and power speaker.
