- Crosley Receiver Model XII-S A three tube set adapted to use 1 1/2 volt dry battery tubes and eliminate the need for a storage battery. Consists of one stage of Tuned Radio Frequency Amplification, Detector and one stage of Audio Frequency Amplification in mahogany finished cabinet with amplifying chamber below the receiver. The Special cabinet was tall enough to internally house the standard telephone 1 1/2 Volt batteries. Price without phones, batteries or tubes. $65.00
