The De Luxe model 405 has a socket power connection as well as a mains cord. This allows it to use 6-volt DC, 32-volt DC or 110-125 volt AC/DC. If a 6-volt or 32-volt power source is to be used the 43 tube must be replaced with a 41 tube. This set uses a 175 ohm resistance line cord for 110--125 volt power. This set does not use pilot lights.
