- The RS-500 Commercial Receiver comprises a panel on the front with all necessary controls. The tuning is done by means of two vernier type condensers mounted on the panel as well as the two knobs at the top of the panel that vary the coupling between the honeycomb coils in the coil mounting in the top of the case. Step by step condensers are furnished for inserting the proper amount of capacity in the grid circuit and across the B battery and telephone, and a variable grid leak is mounted on the face of the panel so that the tuner will work equally well with any type of VT Audion. Wave change by plug-in coils.
