A folder for 1939 (which is season 1938/39) shows two models named as "Music Master Symphony Series". They offer 6-channel spread-band "Ray-Dial", stretching out five short-wave bands, motor-type control and a push-pull audio output circuit. The folder shows a top model "The Gilbert" with 9-station motor-type automatic tuning and this "The Handel" as lowest priced model in that new "Music Master Series" - with 5 motor-driven stations and 8 tubes. The 6X6 is a tuning indicator tube. The De Forest Herbert is electronically identical to this model and has also 5 stations on the automatic push-button control system.
