I have the manual for this equipment and have scanned it the best i can. Compressing the pages to 300kB files is no problem when using JPEG. As soon as i try to save the pages as PNG the file size explodes to 1MB and more. PNG compression setting in IrFanview is set to 9. I tried many other features to reduce size: converting to grayscale, resize etc. How do i upload the manual ?
I also have the tube chart, i haven't even started to scan the document out of frustration...
