  • Equaphase is featured in an add in "Radio Niews" October 1927 from Chas. Freshman Co., Inc, Freshman Building, New York, page 312. All four models came with four tuned circuits; single drive - one control; full floating tube shelf; drum type illuminated dial - calibrated in wavelengths; solid mahagony cabinet - artisitically highlighted. The Freshman model Equaphase F1 is the cheapest of this family (battery operated table model for $ 70 without speaker), followed by G7 ($ 185), G10 (Low Boy for $ 195), and G4 ($ 225). The Equaphase models G include the model G-60-S power supply unit with one or two filter chokes but the same name.Tubes named UC-226, UX-226, UX-226, UY-227, UX-226, UX-171 and UX-280 - or CX-3.. types. Rider is showing them on page Freshman 1-2 to 1-3 and the battery version together with the Masterpiece on 1-1. Model G10 has a Lift top, fold-down front.
