    • Capacity 3.25 x 3.25 pF to 15 x 15 pF with two staggered sections.
    • 0.022" thick brass vanes, soldered to their supports.
    • Silver plate finish.
    • Air gap 0.020". Proof voltage per section 900 V 50 Hz for one minute.
    • Single 3/8" hole mounting. Brass bush with beryllium copper or phosphor bronze thrust washer.

    The Cat 476 is a lower-capacity version of the Cat 583, 25 x 25 pF split-stator capacitor for use in VHF or UHF circuits. The law is substantially straight line capacitance.
    Unlike butterfly types, split-stator capacitors have 180˚ instead of 90˚ rotation for full capacity swing.
    Both ends of the 1/4"  brass shaft are slotted.
