  • Dated 1914 Edgcomb-Pyle Wireless Manufacturing Company Catalog. The really interesting thing about this particular Edgcomb-Pyle catalog is the reference to the Pittsburgh Wireless Equipment Company. On this catalog the Edgcomb-Pyle name and also the town of Pittsburgh are crossed out and ink stamped in their place is Pittsburgh Wireless Equipment Company Ridgway, Penna. There is also a pricing addendum dated January 1st 1916 from the Pittsburgh Wireless Equipment Co. withdrawing the prices in the catalog and raising them by 15%. This is the pink sheet pictured with the catalog. Apparently Edgcomb-Pyle ceased to exist after January 1st 1916. Either the companies name was changed and they were moved to Ridgway, PA or the were bought out by the Pittsburgh Wireless Equipment Co.
